Kings Beach, Caloundra, Sunshine Coast – Location

Holiday Accommodation at Kings Beach, Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast.

Kings Way – THE place to stay!

Kings Way Apartments are located at 20 Warne Terrace, Kings Beach. We run the entire block between Warne Terrace and Moreton Parade along Dingle Ave.

Kings Beach is located north of Caloundra. It is a safe and popular destination, thanks to its easy access, local airport (Maroochydore) and proximity to Brisbane, Australia’s third largest city.

Kings Beach is the most popular surf beach in Caloundra and was named Australia’s number one beach by Surf Lifesaving Queensland in 2015. Caloundra has a beautiful promenade with sweeping beach views, cafes, restaurants, boutique shops which are providing the ingredients for a premier tourist destination. The playground, interactive water features, salt water pool, rock pools and plenty of open space will amuse the children (and the young at heart).

Between the enchanting rock pools, the child-friendly water fountain with its time-delayed surprise spurts of water, the oceanfront saltwater swimming pool, and the gentle beach break with protected swimming areas, a Kings Beach holiday is totally exhilarating. The stunning coastal paths and well-maintained boardwalks allow daily life to unfold in a haze of sand, scooter-happy trails, grassy picnic spots and family football or cricket matches. And it all takes place to the constant soundtrack of surf in the background.

Big highlights are the time-delayed fountain on the Kings Beach foreshore that will take your kids by surprise every time, and the adjacent saltwater pool. There are also calm inlets and lakes with gentle currents and lots of safe kid’s playgrounds (especially the pirate ship at Happy Valley for the little ones), all within view of the ancient Glass House Mountains presiding over the glorious sun-drenched beaches of the Pacific Ocean.

Everything you need is just a few minutes’ walk from your accommodation, so you can unpack your bags and park your car until the day you leave.
